MR. EBENEZER QUADZIE
Laboratory Manager
Mr. Ebenezer Quadzie holds a BSc in Water and Sanitation from the University of Cape Coast, Ghana and an MSc in Environmental Science (specializing in Air Quality Surveillance) from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology Kumasi, Ghana. He also has a certificate in Occupational Health and Safety Training from OSHAcademy.
Mr. Quadzie has over 7 years’ postgraduate experience in Environmental Media Quality Monitoring and Analysis, Equipment Maintenance and Calibration, Data Analysis and Interpretation, using various Environmental Quality Software. He has undertaken Environmental Baseline Monitoring Studies as an integral part of Environmental Impact Assessment in nine of the 16 regions of Ghana, involving the mining/quarry, agricultural, water and energy sectors. Ebenezer was the team lead for air, noise, and water quality assessment for the following projects: Cardinal-Namdini Gold Mining Project, Kingsperp-Aboaboso Gold Mining Project, VAMED Nederland BV-Government of Ghana Hospital Project, Village Corps Biomass Power Plant/Farming System Project, and Atlantic Lithium Baseline Studies, which were all internationally funded projects and guided by World Bank/IFC Standards. In addition to baseline surveys, Ebenezer has successfully undertaken Fenceline Air Quality and Pollution Surveillance for over thirty (30) functional industries, including Paint Manufacturing, Bulk Oil Storage, Oil & Gas, Cement production, Alcoholic and Non-Alcoholic Beverages, Fertilizer production and Canned Food industries, either as a Regulatory requirement by the Ghana EPA and/or as a Company’s requirement for tracking internal pollution or assessing efficiency of production equipment and machines. Years of practical experience and training both on the field and at the laboratory have shaped his professional life into a robust and analytically oriented person. Ebenezer is the Laboratory Manager at SaferWorld Laboratories.
